Puno bolja alternativa originalnom plastičnom poklopcu iz BMW-a, a i skuplja Poklopac cilindra motora u BMW-u R nine T izgleda vrlo čvrsto i ulijeva povjerenje, dugo sam se dvoumio da li da kupim zaštitne šipke ili klizni poklopac. Čini mi se da je to kompromis između funkcionalnosti i neuglednog izgleda zaštitnih šipki na naslijeđenom naked motociklu. Druga stvar je što crash barovi strše puno izvan obrisa motocikla, što kad se sklope u zavoju može rezultirati trljanjem o asfalt (goli je, nije enduro) i pri gužvanju u gužvama. set omogućava plug and play montažu, jedina mana je što odvrnemo jedan šaraf, koji nam je služio kao minus pol pri punjenju baterije, sada možemo stezaljku pričvrstiti na sam poklopac, jer nije farban.
